Day 1
You’ll be met upon arrival in Punta Arenas, Chile, and transferred to your overnight hotel. Tonight’s trip briefing for all participants is followed by dinner.
Day 2
You’ll be transferred to the airport for the flight to King George Island. There will be time to explore several research bases beforeboarding the Ocean Nova to begin your adventure.
Day 3 - Day 6
Cruising between the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula. Each day can vary with changing conditions as you sail along ice-filled fjords accompanied by penguins, seals, whales and birds. Visits may be made to Hannah Point, Port Lockroy, Paradise Bay and Deception Island among other spots.
Day 7
Return to King George Island and your flight to Punta Arenas. You’ll be transferred to your hotel for overnight.
Day 8
Transfer to the airport for your connecting international departure.
